Calling Poets for Peace

Words are scarce to describe this turmoil,
When thousand innocents bleed,
Our hearts are torn down,
When the little ones weep,
Our eyes bleed tears.

Words are scarce to describe this turmoil,
When the world cries for help,
Our knees tremble with fear,
When the children lie lifeless,
Our humanity is questioned for its ruthlessness.

Words are scarce to describe this turmoil,
When the souls depart,
Our hearts seek peace,
When the world searches for peace,
Our world calls all poets for peace…

This is written for the initiative of Michael at http://thepoetrychannel.wordpress.com as part of a collaboration with #PoetsForPeace, which is hosted in https://forgottenmeadows.wordpress.com/2016/07/16/calling-all-poetscreative-minds-to-a-grand-collaboration-poets-for-peace/.

Flooded Chennai Tamil Nadu – Help People Mutually

Hello my dear readers and friends,

Please read this article for heaven’s sake! A humble request…

This is no nonsense promotional blog post.

I’m Anoop, the author of the blog People and Hearts, who is from Chennai, India. You guys would have read or heard about Chennai and its dreaded floods in the media by now.

I’m a victim of this flood. I have witnessed and still witnessing the sufferings of people affected by the Floods in Chennai and Tamil Nadu.

Flood_Chennai_People_Hearts

Flooded Chennai and Tamil Nadu –

I’m writing on behalf of the people who are crying, craving and begging for food, shelter, clothes and blankets. The list of people includes pregnant women, infants, children, old people and many more. These people have few necessities. I will list it down.

  • Pregnant women – Thousands of pregnant women are stuck up in many houses who are unable to move out and are struggling for food. Only few have been able to be rescued by the Indian Air Force by helicopters and other NGO’s. You are now able to understand it better now.
  • Hungry children who have lost their school textbooks and clothes –  Yes, these children have lost their textbooks, clothes and all learning aids. They are made to wait and crave for food.
  • Crying elderly people – Why do they have to undergo all these cruelties.
  • Sorrowful mothers who are unable to feed milk to their children – This is really embarrassing and unfortunate.
  • People begging for food – These people who are begging for food today had cars and lived in a fully furnished AC apartment with luxury. Yes, they have lost their passports and credit cards too in the floods. They have only one pair of dress that they are wearing now. They left everything inside their home and walked onto the streets to get food for them as well as for their family. There are people who are waiting in the terrace of their homes expecting people will drop food packets to them.
  • People begging for clothes – You know how to hide your body and the value of a dress. These people need clothes to wear today because their clothes were lost in the floods. And trust me they are begging when rescuers are coming to help them.
  • People thanking NGO’s and rescue volunteers – The struggling people are considering the NGO’s and volunteers as the sons and daughters of the God. Yes, they are very happy and thankful to these helping benevolent hearts.

There are so many people out there in this world. The NGO’s and rescue team can’t reach out to all the people out there. But we can. If we help each other mutually with what we have, we can bring a great relief for the ailing wounds.

Yes we can make this happen. Please do your small help that can be a great relief for the needy ones.

Please try to help each other mutually.

I hope this article would have made you to think that you are a human being. Yes I believe that my words would do some magic inside you.

Lessons Learned from Chennai Floods

These words are coming out of me at the time of an ongoing natural disaster in Chennai, India. Life has changed for many people in the last few days when Chennai has been flooded badly.

I have seen a large number of people with benevolent hearts who have come up to offer their help to the needy. They are not people with great super powers. They are normal people just like you and me. But they are the ones who make the difference.

You might be rich and have all the fortunes to buy happiness. But when the rains have washed away all your money and occupied your home, you are left with nothing. Only people can help you. Not the money and your fortunes.

There are people with good hearts to help the struggling ones who they know nothing about. Good people too exist in this world. That’s why still the Earth is a nice place to live on.

At the same time, there are people with wicked ideas who are ready to utilize the situation. When people are suffering for food and shelter, some shopkeepers sell milk, drinking water and food for skyrocketing prices. They have no mercy on the struggling people.

The good and ugly side of the city and people is seen here.

But for the few good ones, people still hope for a better day soon.

Find the time and the heart to help people, at least during a natural disaster.

Failing to Win Someday

Failed_Win_People_Hearts

Failed? Try Again…
– Anoop ©People and Hearts

See, it’s very simple and it isn’t rocket science. Let me get to the point quickly.

It may be you or me. But most people experience this feeling. Read on…

I’ve tried, I keep trying, I’m still trying, I’ll keep on trying. All I know is that I’ve failed.

I’m trying this ever since I failed.

But I keep telling myself that there is no secret mantras for being successful. But keep trying more.

I’ve become more strong than yesterday. And I’ve seen so many yesterdays. I don’t fear anymore to fail again. Failure is not new to me.

But I want to win someday. And I’ll win someday.

But when will I win?

I don’t have an answer for that. All I know is to keep trying again.

The Missing Ally

This is a different feeling altogether.

When two men work as a team in all games and crimes, there is this synchronous execution of plans. One man plans it and the other executes it in his own unmatched style. When one loses the grip of the task, the other picks up the momentum and balances the ship. This is an ultimate team that one would dream of.

When the Batman loses his ally, Robin, or vice versa, there is a big void created. Both the Batman and Robin know it very well. They know that both rely on each other at crucial moments.

image

Batman and Robin. Image credits : https://flic.kr/p/8JZwKg

But now, the team has to split up. The thrill of a crime is lost when your best ally is missing.

The world has seen it. Some of the best music bands have tasted phenomenal success when they worked as a team. Their decline was easily visible when the team was split.

The journey with the best teammate is sometimes a onetime journey. At some point, the journey has to end. From there on, it’s a different journey with the leftover footprints.

This post is about the void and the feeling felt when one loses his ally. Have you felt it? If yes, do drop in your comments.

Words are my footprints to the world
– Anoop © People and Hearts

Just like you, I’m here for a purpose. I’m just an ordinary human being. But…

But I’m one among you who can make a big difference.
I can bring about a change that you have never thought about.
I can open up new avenues that you were aspiring for.
I can make you believe in yourself beyond anything on this universe.
I can make you cry and smile in a few seconds.
I can invoke emotions that you were hiding inside your heart.
I can change the world.
I can make you a human being with emotions.
I can inspire you.

But how is that all possible?

Well, you have the answer now. You have read something now. Yes, these are my words. My words are the footprints that I’m creating as a writer to make all this possible.

I believe in my words that I create as they contain emotions in them. My words are the diverse emotions of millions of human beings. I’m writing these words for you, for me and for us. It’s for a collective growth and evolution.

To make a better world. To inspire the world. To make the world smile. To bring in a better change. Yes, I’m a writer and I love being a writer. I love writing for people. I love it when people in different corners of the world can feel the significance of words. That is the biggest satisfaction I get as a writer.

I’m pouring out my words through my fingers, as my words are my footprints for the world.

Creativity is Sheer Madness

Creativity is Sheer Madness – Anoop © People and Hearts

Have you ever entered into the world of ‘Creative‘ people? Have you ever thought how these creative people think? Well, I’ll take you for a walk into the world of creative people…

STATUTORY WARNING: This is not for those lazy bums who don’t enjoy and appreciate fun, madness and creativity. This is also not for those serious faces who don’t enjoy nature. This is also not for those people who follow the herd blindly.

If you have the patience and sensibility to think like a human being, then read on….

‘Creativity’ is a special talent or skill through which something new, unique and refreshing is created. It’s not blind copying but an art of creating something that is worth enough to talk about!

An enchanting music or song, a haunting poem or painting, a unique photo, a reverberating speech or idea, or anything unique is a wonderful creation by the rare breed called creative minds. These creative minds need a fuel, mood, or an environment to trigger creativity. The catalyst for these creative minds is sheer ‘Madness‘.

Creative people love madness. They love to explore the unknown horizons that others fear to attempt. They break the conventional rules and they are unorthodox. A fluid called ‘Madness‘ runs through their veins to make them different from others.

Creative people view a crazy world through ‘Madness‘. They are able to think out-of-the-box and create magic through their works.

Here are a few quotes about madness and creativity:

“No great mind has ever existed without a touch of madness.” ― Aristotle

“Madness in great ones must not unwatched go.” ― William Shakespeare, Hamlet

“The creative person is both more primitive and more cultivated, more destructive, a lot madder and a lot saner, than the average person.” — Frank Barron

“It is only through mystery and madness that the soul is revealed” ― Thomas Moore

“Madness is the acme of intelligence.” – Naguib Mahfouz

“Madness need not be all breakdown. It may also be break-through.”  — R. D. Laing

“If at first the idea is not totally absurd then there is no hope for it.” — Albert Einstein

“The extreme limit of wisdom–that is what the public calls madness.” — Jean Cocteau

“A person needs a little madness, or else they never dare cut the rope and be free.” — Nikos Kazantzakis

“Madness, as you know, is like gravity. All it takes is a little push.” — The Joker — The Dark Knight

This is the sheer brilliance of madness – it makes an ordinary person ‘Creative‘.

“A pinch of madness, when combined with creativity could produce sheer magic.”— Anoop ©People and Hearts

Summing it up, creativity needs a bit of madness. So be imaginative and creative. Enjoy madness!

A Tribute to Nepal – Hearts Broken by Earthquake

Straight down from my heart,
To the shaken world and to the aching hearts,
To the haunting cries heard from far away,
To the sorrowful faces that I haven’t seen,
To the broken places where my physical body couldn’t reach,
To the needy hands that I couldn’t touch,
To the shaken world and to the aching hearts,

My heart bleeds pain…

Postcards of Positive Words

Years before the advent of social networking platforms, we were humble human beings who sent our wishes through the simple POSTCARDS to the people who mattered. These postcards hardly costed a penny. It’s not about the money. But the heart to make the people happy through our words.

I still remember when I was a five-year old, I wrote to my grandma how I missed her and I inquired about her. It made her really happy. When I stopped writing to my grandma, she used to complain to me that why I stopped writing to her. I realized then and even now how much she missed my small postcards of wishes.

Now, coming to our times, postcards are a rarity. But what’s the scarcity in offering the people near us with few positive words. You don’t have to offer them your fortune or materialistic things. But few positive words will serve as the helping hands.

Man is a social animal. You need people and people need you. That’s how the universe works. When you give your ten minutes of your time to someone who needs it badly, it can work wonders for that person.

Few positive words, that’s all you got to give them. You are making someone happy. They will be grateful to you.

Always remember, “Man is a social animal. You need people and people need you”.

Postcards of few positive words…

Learn to Say No When It Matters

As human beings, we tend to be polite to the people in our lives. We tend to make everyone happy. We say ‘Yes’ to most of the things in our life, even though we don’t like a few things.

This is where people go wrong. Even you have your own life, priorities and personal things. When you don’t like something and you are not okay with that. Then if your heart doesn’t allow you to do that thing you dislike, be firm. You can’t make everyone happy and you don’t have to.

Say ‘No’!
Say that you are not okay with this!

Saying ‘No’ is actually a good thing when it matters. So be confident in signalling a ‘No’ when it matters. It actually saves you from a hell of crap!

Listen to your heart! And never allow people to take you for granted! At the same time, stay humble and polite wherever it is required.

Humbly Sorry for No Posts Last Month

I’m humbly sorry for not posting any articles in the last month. During this hibernation, I was spending my time reading other blogs and books, and interacting with people. It was a good time though but I did MISS MY WRITING.

I badly missed my writing. I always love writing. In the last month, I knew how much I missed writing.

I took one month of reading and learning curve that I desperately needed for my writing. I’m happy that I’m back.

So, I’m back again to weave magic with my writings…

For the People with Messed Up Lives

I’m writing this post for the people who are stuck up and screwed up with their lives. This article could be of some help for these people who are clueless about their feelings and decisions. If you are one of them, please read on…

I’m just a stranger, I’m just a well-wisher and I’m just a friend who could help you in finding your solution, at least a path to your problems. The problem is with your mindset.

The fix for your problem is there in your head. Just take a leap of breath and open your eyes with a hope.

For the people who are hiding their feelings for someone and hesitant to open up. The only solution for this problem is to open up and speak out your mind. Go, ping, call, whistle, knock the door, text or do whatever you want. Just tell them what you really want to tell them. It doesn’t matter what the outcome is! If something is bothering you for so long, just let them know what it is. It is the only way you can deal with it. Don’t stop! Go ahead…

For the people who don’t know what to do with their career. If one profession is not providing you the money or happiness that you want, despite your efforts. Just think differently. Stop what you have been doing. Do it the other way. Find your other skill set or passion that will be the route to your happiness and success. It is in you. You were looking for it in the wrong places. Just have a reanalysis of your brain and heart. You have the answer inside you. Don’t stop! Go ahead…

For the people who are stuck up with a fear of losing or fear of fate. If you are worried about the fear of failure and fate, just dump the fear. The fear will take you nowhere. The only solution for this fear is to kill the fear by doing the things that you fear to do. Never care about what will be the outcome. If you feel you need to do this, just do it. Don’t stop! Go ahead…

I hope this could help you!

Unspoken Words in Our Eyes

Our eyes can reveal millions of ideas and thoughts. But what if those timid eyes could never utter those words. What if those eyes never had the courage to reveal those words to the people concerned.

Eventually, these words take their form  as the unspoken words. And those words will resonate in our ears as haunting echoes throughout our lives.

Those unspoken words hidden in our eyes…

Materialistic World We Live In

The world that we live in is the same across different centuries and different civilizations. It’s Materialistic’.

People these days rarely care about the real and raw emotions. The relationships and bonding are characterized by materialism and money. People shower love with all those branded and costly materials.

There is one extreme, where people fight for broken pieces of bread to kill hunger. And there is another extreme, where people fight for pre-ordering iPhones to boast about their social status.

Materialistic World – Photo Courtesy: https://www.flickr.com/photos/70323761@N00/3918355676/

There are people who hide their love within and speak through silence and their eyes. And there are people who share their bedtime love stories and fights on Facebook and Twitter to flood social media.

There are also people who share a slice of bread happily and live their life in harmony. And there are also people who help the helpless and live their life unconditionally.

Yet life balances this parallel world of materialism and humanity. Life goes on…

Pathways that Hold Memories Intact

Pathways that Hold Memories Intact, Photo Credits : Anoop @People and Hearts

The pathways that we walked on years ago, had something to share to the numb eyes. The vision of the eyes were eager to learn the secrets of the pathways.

Time changed from days to months and then to years. But the pathways weren’t guilty for the changes taking place. The pathways stood there standstill with the changing times and changing people.

The pathways are like a haunting song that clings on to people’s hearts. The pathways hypnotize people who fall prey to the song. In the end, the eyes start to visualize a dream known as the memories.

The pathways that hold memories intact…

Winds of Change are Essential

When the world around us is changing, we find it unacceptable. Our heart cannot take it easily at the first place. There is an uncertainty that looms around each of us.

In such situations, there is nothing much we could do. But to accept the reality and grind the truth without a denial.

Time is the only healer who could fix any change. Let the time find its own pace to settle things out.

Be prepared and let the winds of change hit us hard. The impact could change us for the better. Winds of change are essential!

Following the Time

It happens to most people throughout their lives and there is no escaping from it. The strings of such a moments are controlled by the ‘Time‘. Here, the time reigns superior than the human beings.

In these type of moments, you tend to wonder what had happened to you. The world surrounding you seems to drift apart. You are down, lost, confused and helpless. Your life is not under your control as you begin to understand it lately.

You would have given your best efforts and remained true to yourself and others. You would have wished for something good but unfortunately time had something different for you in store.  All your efforts have been fruitless. You feel that your heart is not able to accept it.

In such difficult times, your close ones would not be standing by your side. The people whom you loved would have moved away from you. You would feel that loneliness is overshadowing your once active life. There will be frustration deep down in your heart.

Despite all these hardships, you make efforts to move on and indulge in activities that help to give a diversion to your mind. As you anchor a new path and as times change, you realize that there is a new light appearing at the end of the dark tunnel. You understand that the crumbled world is giving shape to a new world to live in. You find new goals to work for and new wishes to hope for. You meet new people. And the vibe around you and your life has changed completely.

Lately, you understand that your life is much better now.  Your dear ones would have started to believe in you. Life would have changed for now, even though the change was a slow one. Thanks to the ‘Time’!

When you take a moment to look back at the things that happened yesterday. You realize that the past had a reason for the present life. Everything that happened was for a reason. All the broken pieces from your past have found a perfect place to fit in your present life. You feel that life is even more beautiful than ever.

You understand the power of the ‘Time‘. What you had done so far was following theTime‘. Finally, the ‘Time‘ has taken you to a new world.

Following the Time…

Hugging the Tree and Listening to its Heartbeats – Nature Awareness Campaign

When I was a kid, I came running to you,
My heart said that you are not a mere tree,
So I hugged you like my best friend,
I placed my ears on your chest,
I started to feel that you too have a life,
I began to listen to your heartbeats,
I understood your feelings,
You said to me that I must protect you.

Even after years, I still come running to you,
With the childish innocence intact,
I still hug you like my best friend,
I still place my ears on your chest,
I still feel that you too have a life,
I still listen to your heartbeats,
You are here with me as ever before,
I’ve kept my promise that I gave you,
I’m still protecting you like my best friend.

 Save Trees and Save Nature…

This post is written to create an awareness among people to save trees and nature. Let this childish innocence pave the way for saving trees and nature.

Final Moments of Mystery

Final Moments of Mystery

Final Moments of Mystery

Every mystery has a conclusion and the ultimate revelation. The mystery surrounding this stranger is about to break out.

Finally he meets this mystery lady again after three months. But this was something unexpected. The long absence of the stranger made him to fancy that the lady has vanished. But to his surprise, the lady is standing near to him.

When he met her this time, there was a complete silence in his heart. He stood standstill observing the lady like before.

She appeared different from the last meeting, probably, a makeover of her looks. When he watched her silently with his head tilting towards her, there was a cautious glance from the lady. She noticed him like a cop on patrol. He felt the shiver in his body instantly.

The bus arrived to disturb the silent mind game that was taking place. The lady boarded the bus in no time. But he did not move from his place. His heart was pushing him to go after her and to board the same bus. He was in no hurry and decided that the time has not come for following her.

The lady disappeared as usual and he went about doing his routine work. Back at his home, he was thinking what has to be done next. The silence and the mystery surrounding the lady was bottling him up. He wants to bring an end to this mystery once and for all.

So the day has come, he arrives at the meeting place on time. The silence will take shape as words, as he is going to speak to her. The months of silence and mystery will be unfolded now…

Taking a Break to Return Afresh

Following a daily routine of work and activities for a month without a break makes people bored and tired. They lose interest in what they are doing as it becomes mechanical. So to fix this issue, they need to take a break.

Take a break to return afresh

While taking a break, people should make sure that they do those things that make them happy and feel relaxed. Staying away from the usual activities will be a good idea. Trying to get involved in new activities and hobbies could be a real stress buster. In that way, people are not only easing themselves but also finding new interests and hobbies. Here are a few activities that people could give a try:

  • Talk to people and interact more
  • Find a silent place and spend time for yourself alone
  • Play with kids
  • Find new music and listen to good music
  • Spend time for reading either books or from online
  • Sleep well
  • Explore places in your town or city
  • Try new foods and recipes
  • Eat chocolates
  • Eat healthy food and go for shopping
  • Hit the gym or do workouts
  • Play outdoor games
  • Go out and take photos
  • Go trekking
  • Enjoy the nature
  • Watch the moonlight
  • Sing songs that you love
  • Anything that people are comfortable doing and staying happy

The duration of the break could be hours or days. Whatever is the duration of the break. When you feel better and the mind is fresh, then return back to the routine activities.

It is always good to take a break. It gives people a clear and cool mind to start things again afresh.

Speak Up and Open Your Thoughts to the Right People

Speak up and open your thoughts to the right people. Be expressive.

Speak up and open your thoughts to the right people. Be expressive.

Why don’t we try to be a bit expressive? Why don’t we try to speak our mind to the people we really know? Why don’t we start a conversation with the right people to get a new direction in our lives?

Man is known to be a Social Animal. Human beings are gifted with the ability to speak. They can connect with their fellow beings through communication. But are we communicating with people, really? Really?

Domestic animals such as cats and dogs are better at communicating with people rather than humans. Pets convey their true feelings to people by their own languages. So where have we failed in communicating with the people we know.

Open up people. Open your mind, heart and mouth. Speak up. Speak out what you really feel. Let people know about you and try to know about people.

Speak and connect with the right people. That’s the beauty of communication in life.

When we speak to the right people with similar interests, it will lead to a better conversation. We get to know more about the world and people. Healthy communication leads to a change in the thoughts and perceptions of people. It will open up new avenues for a better life.  It is always good when we speak to the right people at the right time.

So be Expressive!

The Merciless Modern and Civilized World

A scene during the busy hours of a Monday morning…

Vehicles were plying around the city continuously. Most of the people were busy with their mobile phones, either on a call or texting. Few others were waiting for their buses. There were also a few who were walking over the place without any hesitancy.

Among this crowd, there was a man in his seventies who was lying down with a pool of blood surrounding him. Few currency notes were flying from his pocket. Broken pieces of mobile phone were scattered around the place. The poor old man was knocked down by a speeding car while he was crossing the road.

This man was fighting for his life as he was bleeding profusely. He was suffocating.

The people surrounding the man were less bothered to see what had happened. They were busy in their own world. Sadly, only one guy from the group was ready to call for an ambulance. The writer, who was traveling in a public transport at this time, was just a spectator of this incident.

This is just an overview of the Merciless modern and civilized world.

The Borderline of Being Single or Being Commited

I’m starting the first lines of this post with this unknown quote,

Iwould

The quote has said it all as it is loud and clear to what it refers. I arrived at this point of time to write on a state of mind and heart when both are not in sync with each other. I call this state as the Borderline that will decide whether a person is single or is in a committed relationship. The situation could be a disaster for a person who is currently in a relationship. On the contrary, the situation could be a reason of instant excitement and relief who is currently single.

Borderline

I’m narrating two scenarios. Read on…

When a person, who is single, looks around the people around him and finds the following things:

  • The people who are in a relationship are not happy with the love in their relationship.
  • They spend more time complaining and pulling each others legs.
  • The same people spend more time in finding faults with each other.
  • There is ‘ego and hatred in the air’ but ‘not love in the air’.
  • People’s self respect and freedom are put to scrutiny.
  • People are not allowed to follow their dream and passion.
  • People are not allowed to talk and socialize with their friends.
  • People are forced to show a fabricated love by hiding their true inner feelings and emotions.
  • People are crying inside but acting as if they are happy.
  • People telling to others that they are in love but actually they are in misery.

It is here that the person who is single, feels that he was fortunate not to be part of this egoistic and fabricated love.

When a person, who is single, looks around the people around him and finds the following things:

  • The people who are in a relationship are really smiling happily by holding each others hands.
  • The same people are communicating with their eyes more than with their words.
  • There are flowers flying all over along with natural and raw love.
  • The same people are allowed to follow their own passions and dreams.
  • People are allowed to socialize with their respective friend’s circle yet respecting each others privacy and space.
  • People are more understanding and sensible to deal with their sacrifices and lives.
  • People are making their relationship as well as themselves special and loving happily.
  • There is real and natural love in the air and everywhere.
  • Couples holding a single umbrella under the rain.
  • The same people are friends in real life and they are in love with each other.

It is here that the person who is single, feels that he was unfortunate not to be part of this real and natural love.

I feel that I’m fortunate not to be part of that fabricated love. This is why I’m taking my own time to find that natural love.

Two People and Two Fears

Fear is an emotion that is seen in everyone. Sometimes, this fear drives us forward. Sometimes, this fear drowns us.

Here are two people who lead different lives with two different fears. Despite the difference in the fears, these two people are interlinked with a common factor called the memories. The depth of their memories made their fears more vulnerable.

Eight years ago…

A breakup for reasons unknown even to them makes this complex. They broke up but both of them never knew what went wrong in their relationship. So the wall came crumbling down onto their lives.

Eight years later…

Their lives are a lot different now. The world around them has changed completely in these eight years with an exception. Memories were the only thing that were unchanged.

Her fear,

The memories implanted a fear in her, which she doesn’t want to face it. She feared to meet him again. She feared to see him again. She feared to talk to him again. She feared to hear his resonating words again. She feared him. She feared if she sees him again, her life would be affected. She kept running away from him. She kept her eyes closed. She hid herself from him and his shadow.

His fear,

The memories implanted a fear in him, which he doesn’t want to face it. He feared not to meet her again. He feared not to see her again. He feared not to talk to her again. He feared not to hear her resonating words again. He wanted to see her one last time. He wanted to talk to her one last time. He kept his eyes open. He kept himself open to her and to her shadow. He wished to move on by talking to her one last time.

What will happen to the fear? Even they both are unsure about the fate of their fears as similar to their breakup for reasons unknown.

Frozen by an Illusion

Frozen by an Illusion

Frozen by an Illusion

Burning the dreamy shadows of illusion
that drew the smokey eyes.
Shedding the moistened leaves of illusion
that deceived the fading greenery.
Frozen by an illusion.

Attenuating the deafening voices of illusion
that disguised the lifting melody.
Vaporizing the hypnotic rain of illusion
that cozened the melting rainbows.
Frozen by an illusion.

The Power and Aftereffects of Guilt

Who's Guilty?

Who’s Guilty? (Photo credit: Wikipedia)

Guilt – What can it do to people?

If people are found guilty, they undergo a battle between their heart and the present. The guilt takes their lives to a different level. The aftereffects of guilt varies with individuals.

For a few, guilt makes them to think wisely and be cautious. They begin to live life differently. For certain people, guilt offers them another opportunity to live a worthy life. They begin to live rather than to exist merely.

There are a few, who start to love someone truly, forget someone completely, end their own life through suicide, ask forgiveness, kill someone and many more. Guilt can do anything to anyone. That’s why a guilty person is vulnerable.

But there are a few who think about someone every day and live their life gracefully. In this case of people, they are still guilty. However, they know that life has to go on.

Guilt is hiding in everyone’s heart. Most people don’t accept it. Guilt is seen throughout the history from men to women. Guilt is passed on from generations to generations from great people to laymen.

In the end, guilt changes people to human beings as they learn the meaning of emotions and heart.

A Man Admits it Openly

They say that men submerge their feelings,
It’s true to the core from men’s perspective,
For a change, let a man admit his feelings openly,
Here are the feelings of a man who isn’t afraid of opening himself up.

Yes, he doesn’t like to shed a tear in front of others,
Yes, he pretends to be strong although he is broken,
Yes, he does foolish things and makes mistakes,
Yes, he forgets many things unknowingly.

Yes, he doesn’t think much and make things complex,
Yes, he loves sports, video games, gadgets, machines, technology and action,
Yes, he focuses on only one task at a time and does it clean,
Yes, he is lazy and hates to clean his room.

Yes, he is careless and loves hanging out with his friends,
Yes, he loves his beard and hates to shave his beard,
Yes, he doesn’t imagine things like women,
Yes, he is practical and logical.

Yes, he is also a human being with emotions and feelings,
Yes, he has a hell lot of rebellion and turmoil going inside him,
Yes, he is clueless at times
Yes, he has his own likes, dislikes, ambitions and hopes,

Yes, ‘She’ makes him weak,
Yes, ‘She’ makes him cry,
Yes, ‘She’ makes him strong,
Yes, ‘She’ makes him smile,

Yes, he thinks about ‘Her’ round the clock,
Yes, he is mad about ‘Her’,
Yes, he craves to see ‘Her’,
Yes, he dies to listen to hear ‘Her’ voice.

Yes, he will do anything to make ‘Her’ smile,
Yes, he will keep up his promise for ‘Her’,
Yes, he allows her to pursue ‘Her’ dreams,
Yes, he is happy to let ‘Her’ go if she wants to,

Yes, he is ready to forget ‘Her’ if it is required,
Yes, he finds it hard to move on,
Yes, he knows that he can’t forget ‘Her’,
Yet still, he will forget ‘Her’…

Broken Words

Trying to describe the moment of despair felt by two people,
Living in two different corners of the world,
Trying to describe the silence between the two people,
Carrying the burden of shattered memories,
Those unsaid words, those broken words…

Trying to visualize the meeting between two people,
Looking into their eyes for one last time,
Trying to feel the emotions communicated between the two people,
Holding their hands for one last time,
Those final words, those broken words…
